ACT Building Control (ACT), the Registered Building Control Approver and part of CHPK Group, is pleased to announce the promotion of Stuart Hammond to Managing Director.
The appointment reflects Stuart’s significant contribution to the business and his leadership in helping ACT strengthen its position as a trusted partner for developers, contractors, designers and property professionals across England and Wales.
With more than 20 years of experience in the construction industry, Stuart is a highly respected Registered Building Inspector holding Class 3–4 competency registration with the Chartered Association of Building Engineers (CABE). Throughout his career, he has developed extensive expertise in building regulations, building safety legislation and regulatory compliance, supporting projects across the residential, commercial, healthcare and public sectors.
As Managing Director, Stuart will lead the next phase of ACT Building Control’s growth, overseeing the company’s strategic development, operational performance and client service delivery while continuing to champion technical excellence and regulatory best practice.
ACT Building Control forms part of CHPK Group, the multidisciplinary property and construction consultancy that brings together expertise across building consultancy, building control, building safety, fire engineering, façade engineering and services engineering. The Group’s integrated approach enables clients to access coordinated specialist advice across the entire built environment lifecycle.
