Contract Administration

Contract administrators are responsible for making sure both parties abide by the terms of the contract and helping resolve disputes.

A good contract administrator will work with your legal team to advise you on the appropriate contract for your project and highlight the benefits and weaknesses of all contract options.

By appointing CHPK at the beginning of the planning process, you can ensure you get the best advice and avoid potentially costly pitfalls before it is too late.

CHPK contract administrators can deal with:

  • Issuing payment certificates

  • Issuing contract instructions

  • Reviewing extension of time applications from the contractor

  • Issue completion or non-completion certificates

When CHPK act as Contract Administrator we aim to be resolute and objective to ensure the interests of both the client and contractor are properly balanced in order to avoid disputes.

CHPK can also incorporate contract administration within the wider Project Manager role.
